Useful guidance needs clear sources and clear limits
How FlowHer plans, sources, writes, updates and corrects general cycle and wellness information.

Our editorial purpose
FlowHer Health Guides aim to make cycle and wellness topics understandable, evidence-aware and honest about uncertainty. They provide general information for reflection and conversation, not personalized medical advice.
What the FlowHer Editorial Team byline means
The byline identifies the FlowHer team responsible for researching, writing, editing and maintaining an article. It does not claim that the team holds a medical credential. Unless a named medical reviewer is listed, an article has not been clinically reviewed.
How we choose sources
Primary research and official public-health guidance are preferred when they directly support a claim. We also use clinical organizations, government health agencies and established medical references when they provide clearer practical context.
Sources should be relevant to the exact claim, current enough for the topic and visible to readers in the article references. A source does not remove uncertainty, so articles should state limits when evidence is mixed, observational or not directly applicable to every person.
Medical and fertility boundaries
- We do not present a wellness signal as a diagnosis.
- We do not describe cycle or fertility estimates as contraception or certainty.
- We include care guidance when symptoms may be persistent, worsening, severe or concerning.
- We do not invent clinicians, medical review, credentials or expert approval.
Product information and editorial content
FlowHer Health Guides may explain how a product feature can help someone record or revisit a pattern. Product claims must remain distinguishable from general health information, and a FlowHer feature is not evidence for a medical claim.
Corrections and updates
We update an article when a material fact, source, product capability or safety boundary changes. The page’s updated date should reflect a meaningful review or revision, not an automatic date refresh.
To report a factual error, unclear source or missing boundary, email hi@flowher.app with the article URL and the passage in question. We review correction requests and update the article when the evidence supports a change.
